FROM 6PM: BOOK YOUR PIGTOWN FESTIVAL DINNER: Sash Restaurant at No1 Pery Square

Sash Restaurant will be taking bookings for our specially created Pigtown tasting menu. A wine/ beer pairing will also be available and optional as we celebrate the annual Pigtown Limerick food festival. Join us for an exclusive menu created by head chef Alex and the team that celebrates Limerick’s rich history and food heritage. We are passionate about all things local here at No. 1 and are honoured to have such incredible food producers feature on our menus. 

Our menu will include a delicious complimentary aperitif, No. 1 Wild Blackberry Bellini followed by a 4 course tasting menu with coffee. The menu will feature producers such as Ballyhoura Mushrooms, New Leaf Urban Farm, Caroline Rigneys Farm, Templeroe Dairy Farm, Castelconnell Wild Honey, Attyflin Apple Estate and many of our own autumn herbs.

A special festival tasting menu price of €49.00 per person, selected number of seats available.

Patricia, Seamus and the team will be at your service to recommend some fantastic natural and bio dynamic wines to pair with your food at €39.00 per person for 4 wines. Our local Treaty City beer pairing will also be available for guests to enjoy.

6PM-7PM It’s the annual Pigtown Parade! (FREE)

Kiddies bring your piggies – if you have toy pigs, from stuffed ones to Peppa or Toy Story’s Ham, why not bring them along as we all march in the Parade together!

Gathering in Bedford Row at 6pm with face-painting and more fun for young and old. Everyone is invited to come along and join in our parade through the streets of Limerick City…


5PM-8PM: Culture Night Pigtown Party at the Milk Market – Parade Afterparty (FREE)

“This Little Piggy went to the Milk Market…” (Admission is free)

Family fun at the Milk Market in a Pigtown Party that will include mobile petting farm, a pig mask-making workshop, hot food vendors, craft stalls, live music and more.

The free mask making workshop will be hosted upstairs by Lumen Street Theatre and run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. It is suitable for children aged 10-13 years, younger participants will need a parent to assist. Places in the workshop are limited to 12 children and will operate on a first-come-first-served basis.


FROM 6PM: Eat on Treaty Streeton Nicholas Street featuring Dan Sykes of Springfield Castle with Keith Pigott, DJ and guests, in association with Treaty City Brewery (FREE)

“Keith on de Street and Dan the man Sykes burn it down at Treaty City Brewery using Harris Pale Ale as a base ingredient for some savage local grub.” (Admission is free, food/drink cost at stalls.)

Lap up Limerick like a local – small group guided walking food tour in Limerick City with Olivia O’Sullivan of Limerick Food Tours. Duration 2.5hrs with six food stops and tastings including a visit to Limerick’s famous Milk Market. €80.00 per person.

Meet the Rigney’s and have a guided tour of their Rare Breed Pig Farm in picturesque Curraghchase, Co, Limerick… Visit a Fairy Fort, Bee Apiary, see Shorthorns at grass and the numerous free range hand-reared pigs on the farm. Enjoy a Curraghchase Special: sausage, black and white pudding, salad leaves, tomato,  onion served on a toasted bun with our own homemade relish.€25.00 per person.

Live butchery demo with whole pig breakdown by butcher Garrett Landers and chef Tom Flavin at Garrett’s Butchers, with tastings from Cook & Cleaver award-winning and locally made premium reheat and eat ready meals. 


4PM-6PM Taste of Treaty Tour at Treaty City Brewery

Pigtown Pilsner launch & tasting 4pm-6pm – Starting with Tap #1, we will work our way thru the menu board, experiencing craft beer at its best.

11AM-1PM: Pigtown Brunch at No1 Pery Square

Pigtown Breakfast/ Brunch Special: No 1 Pery Square will offer guests (per booking advised) a special breakfast menu featuring many elements of Limerick ham and pig and many more treats.

Culbac Farm Eggs Benedict with pressed Ham Hock Terrine is just an idea of what you can enjoy.

Breakfast at No 1 is a special treat to include a fresh juice to order, house made granola, stewed apple and organic velvety yogurt, a hot dish of choice and a hot beverage to finish with some delicious savoury ham and cheese scones, or walnut and coffee bread.

All inclusive at €25.00 per person and served until 12 noon.

‘What’s on the menu – Limerick Restaurants 1860-1960’ guided walking tour by historian Dr Paul O’Brien.

4.30PM-6.30PM: MEET THE MAKER with Chef Keith Pigott at Treaty City Brewery

Fermentorium – The Culture of our Cultures – Beer is food and food is beer.

Fermentation is a part of all our lives. In this unique experience, we will pair fantastic fermented foods with fantastic fermented beer to give you a full, all round experience of our Cultures.
